The bullet resistant panels line the “wall” between the jurors, witnesses and the courtroom and can be finished with a plastic laminate for esthetic value. Should gun fire erupt in the courtroom, the jurors and witnesses need only protect themselves behind the ballistic lined wall to stay out of harms way. When lining bullet resistant jury box and witness stand, Protective Structures recommends using SecureAll bullet resistant fiberglass. Pictured to the right is a 12" x 12" piece of SecureAll UL Level 4, bullet resistant fiberglass that has been shot with a rifle.

As you can see, SecureAll captures the bullet entirely. In any application, this ensures protection of your judges and courtroom staff as well as your witnesses and jury. Other bullet resistant products, such as steel, can produce spall or ricochet and thus endanger everyone in the courtroom.
